Hello Beauty and Happy New Year!!

Can you believe it’s 2023?! Yikes, that went by fast! Although some of us may not be as excited for the New Year, I for one am. A new year always brings a sense of new beginnings and new challenges. A time to reflect on our shortcomings from the previous year and the choice to improve upon them. I’m excited for what’s to come! 

To kick off the new year, I’m starting with a product review video. I purchased a bunch of new items and I’ll be honest, some of these just didn’t hit the mark for me. They are quickly becoming internet sensations and super trendy, but I wasn’t that impressed.

One Shirt… Three looks

I don’t know about you, but I always have the hardest time putting outfits together. I’ll purchase a shirt or pants and wear it the exact same way every time. Well, I’ve made it my personal goal to learn how to style myself! My first item up was these pants I purchased a while ago and couldn’t find anything to wear them with.

I went on the hunt to our local outdoor Fashion Square and I found this clothing boutique called Nadya’s Closet. This place is adorable! It was filled with all of my favorite types of pieces. The amazing thing was they had this shirt paired with similar pants as mine. So I purchased the shirt and the bracelet and viola! It completed the look I was going for so perfectly!

Sunset Eyeshadow Makeup Look

Hello Beautiful!

This past weekend my family and I went to Marshall’s to pick up some beauty blenders for my makeup kit. I always like to browse the makeup section while I’m there to see if I find any gems.

This was my lucky day! I scored some #MORPHExJaclynHill palettes for $7.99!!! I was super stoked! I also got a few MAC lipsticks for $7.99 each.

The first Morphe palette I used was Ring the Alarm. It’s a beautiful rich red and brown, warm toned palette. Right up my alley!

I died when I saw this! It even comes with a mirror inside which is a huge plus!

The adventures of Aaron and mom shopping at Target! I know… so exciting right? Haha. Well it was exciting for me! In this episode of my kid picks my makeup, Aaron chooses a beautiful palette by Maybelline and a crazy wild color palette. I can’t wait to try them both out.

Stick around for this 3 part series. I’ll be swatching and testing out the 2 palettes he got me. Which one should I showcase first?

By the way, he was so excited about that Coca Cola lip smacker. That excitement immediately turned into regret when he realized (or so he thought) it was a “lipstick”. LOL!

Hello Beauties!!

Did you miss me!? I know, I know… it’s been a hot minute since I’ve been on here. I took some time off and now I’m super excited to get back into the blogging game.

So this year has been a little crazy. Wouldn’t you agree? Amidst all the chaos of 2020, my husband and I celebrated our 12 year wedding Anniversary. If you ask me, it came at the perfect time! It fell on the weekend that our city opened back up from the Covid lockdown. Hallelujah!! Our most favorite restaurant (Larsen’s Grill) was open for business and taking reservations. I had the honor of working on my first Indian Bride this past weekend. I was so fascinated with all the gorgeous dresses, the jewelry and the colors! Everything was so bright and vivid and the ceremony was absolutely beautiful!
